Ouarzazate Photo Tour.
Are you traveling to Ouarzazate and want to spend a day taking interesting photos? If so, my Ouarzazate photo tour is for you!
About this tour
The Ouarzazate photo tour is a one day tour, from 7.30 am (or before sunrise) until 6pm.
On this photo tour we will visit some famous photo locations such as the “Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou” and the petrol station where the movie “The Hills have eyes” was filmed. Both places are about 30min away from Ouarzazate.
Back to town, we will visit the old souk.
After lunch we will walk through the narrow streets of the old “Kasbah Taourirt” to take some street portraits of the local people. In the Kasbah we will visit the old Synagogue, which is now a museum. From the terrace of the synagogue there is a beautiful panoramic view over the valley.
Then we will visit the “Oasis of Fint” which is about 20 minutes away from Ouarzazate, most people there are traditional Berbers.
Who is this tour for?
The Ouarzazate photo tour is ideal for beginners, intermediate and professional Photographers.
If you already have experience in street photography you know how challenging it can be to approach people and photograph them on the street, especially in a culture as conservative as Morocco. Although Moroccans in general are very loving people, they are not very comfortable with cameras. So during this photo tour you will get to know a way to approach them for street portraits.
